In a world where import brands make up almost the entire luxury car market in the United States, the introduction of Chevrolet's all-new Corvette could give them a run for their money. While Chevrolet is predominately known for being a leader within the general vehicle market, this domestic brand is starting to steers itself more into the Luxury vehicle category with the introduction of its 2014 Corvette Stingray. The Corvette Stingray allows vehicle owners to drive a vehicle that has the identical size and weight as a Porsche 911, but with more power per pound of mass with its 460 horsepower and 6.2 liter V-8 engine. Not only does it surpass its luxury counterpart, but encompasses extremely expensive materials traditionally reserved only for the most exotic of European sport cars. Chevy's 2014 Corvette Stingray doesn't just steer Chevy towards the luxury market it puts domestic brand vehicle on the map.
