Concept Car Spotlight: Chevrolet Nomad

The Chevrolet Nomad Concept car, which was originally inspired by the 1954 Nomad, debuted at the 2004 North American International Auto Show. While the original Nomad was based on the Corvette, the concept vehicle derives its vision from GM's new Kappa rear-architecture-foundation. The Nomad isn't just your average concept car either, its futuristic design makes it hard to categorize making it not another sedan concept, but a unique model all its own. Powered by a turbocharged 210-hp 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine, this vehicle is fully loaded and ready to roll.  Hopefully the ideas put forth to make this amazingly unique vehicle will be employed in futuristic Chevrolet models to come.
